The annual seminar for the Norwegian University Museum IT collaboration include both Natural History and Cultural History. The first day focus on common tasks and IT services. Anton Güntsch from the Botanical Garden and Botanical Museum, Berlin is invited to present the use of persistent identifiers in CETAF [link].
On day two the Norwegian GBIF node will present activities on web portals for herbarium and specimen collections in GBIF in general and the prototype dataset portal under development for the Norwegian collections. The SLIDES are available here.
Day two also includes a presentation from Libby Ellwood on the work on Citizen Science in iDigBio (US).
