This event will assist your understanding of biodiversity data usage and data citation.
By the end of the workshop, you will:
- Know different ways to access biodiversity data in GBIF.
- Be familiar with standard cleaning procedures when using biodiversity data in GBIF.
- Understand the pros and cons of GBIF data usage (compared to other forms of data).
- Be able to properly cite biodiversity data in GBIF that has been accessed.
